This is a standalone novel and isn't related to any of the series' written by Liz Crowe.
Grace Irwin is an aspiring author. Bookish and nerdy, she has never had any confidence around men. So when she meets the charismatic Ryan at a party, she is surprised at the chemistry and instant connection between them. Their romance is a whirlwind, with Ryan sweeping her off her feet. Fiercely independent, Grace won't be pushed over by the dominant Ryan, and after a few teething problems she finds herself happily married and living the perfect life.
Ryan Sullivan is a very successful hotel and resort consultant. Travelling between Detroit, Vegas and destinations across the world, he is never short of female company. Finding himself at a rather dull party, he never expects to find his perfect woman there. Grace is the opposite of everything he would normally go for and she bowls him over. She is strong, stubborn and independent. Ryan cannot get enough.
4 years later and the Sullivan's are still happily married. Grace is now a successful author and Ryan's career continues to go from strength to strength. When he heads to France to persuade the latest celebrity chef to open a restaurant in his latest Vegas project, little does he know the impact Henri Christophe will have on him and his happy marriage. Suddenly he's questioning his lifestyle, choices, and it changes everything he thought he knew about himself.
This is a very hot and steamy read folks!
I love a good ménage romance. It's not something that I have or indeed intend to have any experience in, but man, it's the best and hottest escapism read you can get in my opinion. Vegas Miracle is the perfect one sit read. As with all Liz Crowe books, the characters have depth to them and Liz's writing will evoke strong opinions and real emotions about those characters and the situations they find themselves in.
I loved Grace and Henri. They were patient, understanding and accepting of each other. The love they both share for Ryan, gives them common ground with each other. They seek and find something in one another that is separate to what they have with Ryan. Ryan... So I will admit at this point that I wanting to throat punch him quite a lot. Ryan is where the drama is and I struggled with him and the decisions he made throughout a good chunk of the book. Don't get me wrong, I am the most laid back person when it comes to any type of plot; It's all about the real life for me. I just couldn't help but feel that Ryan was a little underhanded and selfish in the way he conducted himself; particularly when it came to Grace and his marriage. Liz never lets me down though, and by the end of the book I felt I understood Ryan and the reasons behind all the heartache he put himself, Henri and Grace through.
Once again I can only applaud Liz for the detail and characterisation she puts into her cast and storyline. She certainly gets the reader to react to what she writes and that is why I love her books so much. Her writing is real and therefore you will feel strongly about the characters she writes about so eloquently.
If you want a sexy ménage read with great characters, off the chart sex scenes and heartbreaking drama, look no further. This is a real guilty pleasures read and another fine example of Liz Crowe's amazing storytelling skills.
