UnTouch Me (Angels Warriors MC Trilogy #2)

By Dawn Martens

Synopsis

**WARNING** you MUST read UnKiss Me before UnTouch Me!!

The truth always comes out, no matter how deep you try to bury it. Secrets never make their way to the grave.
Lilly Mayer has always lived a simple life. She’s loyal—maybe too loyal since faithfulness cost her the love of her life. Keeping Eden’s whereabouts a secret from everyone, including Vinny, has ripped away Lilly’s future.

Vincent “Zippo” Torino knows he’s a goddamn bastard. And he’s willing to use Lilly’s loyalty to Eden as his own escape from a hell he created. He doesn’t give a damn that he’s leaving the woman pregnant with his child behind—not when he has to protect his own destructive secret. And not when he’s sure she’s going to beat him to the punch and leave first.

As the dangers to the club escalate, nobody’s hearts—or lives—are safe.

Book 2 in the Angels Warriors MC Trilogy. This is a continual series and although each book focuses on a different couple, the main story and those of the characters overlap. I do not recommend reading this book or indeed this review until you have first read book 1, UnKiss me.

And so the story moves on. This book focuses on Lilly Mayer affectionatly known as Lilly-Pad to her loved ones and Vincent 'Zippo' Torino. As we already know, they found themselves together after Eden left town and although Lilly had maintained contact with Eden during her time away, Eden was unaware of her relationship with Zippo and Zippo and the boys were in the dark about her contact with the girl they had all tried so desperately to find.

We knew at the end of book 1 that Lilly and Zippo's relationship could be volatile. Having found herself pregnant, Lilly worried about his reaction. Zippo however, was over the moon and they quickly got engaged. That all ended the night the Angels Warriors went to see Eden to provide her with protection. Feeling betrayed by Lilly's lies, Zippo ended there relationship possibly for good.

This story takes us back into the past. We find out why Lilly kept Eden's whereabouts secret and we also find out more about the 9 year relationship that her and Zippo have had. We also get to learn more about Zippo and his very sketchy and secretive behaviour in UnKiss me. In the present, loyalties will once again be tested and secrets will be kept. When the one secret that Zippo knows will completely destroy their love is uncovered, how will Lilly react? And will they finally be able to walk their separate ways for good?

And throughout all the personal drama's, the threat to the club remains. More people will die, but the identities of the aggressors may just become a little clearer.

Well I have to say that this book was a real good read. I did have some issues with book 1, but the biggest one about the flow of the book isn't something that was an issue at all in this book; although I still felt the timelines were a little undefined. The characters and the drama are much more developed in this read and it makes it super fast paced, with exciting twists and turns; not just for Lilly and Zippo but for the 6 friends this series is in essence about.

Lilly and Zippo's relationship is a complicated one. It all comes down to love and at no point in this read did I doubt the love that they had for each other; especially Zippo's love for Lilly. Be prepared, Zippo is, at times, a total and utter bastard. I couldn't help but like him though. I think they both find their relationship frustrating and this makes them break up and make up more times than is probably healthy. The question is - Is love enough in the long run?

A brilliant sequel to book 1. Once again your HEA's aren't a given and you will certainly have more questions left without answers than you went in with. I now look forward to book 3, UnBreak this heart. This will be the final book and will focus on Hilary and Reaper, but will also complete all of our friends stories. Luckily I don't have long to wait... The suspense is off the chart.
