Uncharted (On the Island, #1.5) by Tracey Garvis-Graves

What a wonderful way to spend an evening. Fans of On the Island MUST read this accompanying novella. Owen's story is deeply compelling and compliments T.J and Anna's story perfectly.

On the Island was my first ever Island castaway read and it continues to be one of my absolute favourites. Tracey Garvis-Graves' writing style flows effortlessly. She paints pictures with words that are so vivid I swear I heard waves and felt the rays of the Sun upon my skin.

Even though this is primarily Owen's story, the man behind the old wooden shack and the first Island visitor, it also reconnected Anna and T.J to their past as it answered many questions giving them both a renewed sense of closure. It was fascinating as some of his actions played a huge part, intertwining with certain events that took place in the main story.

It is also a tale of self discovery, how one rich, successful young man escaped the arduous long days in business to seek out his own new adventure, one that took him to a place he truly never expected.

There is also a love story thrown into the mix and the truth behind bones is finally revealed, but a friendly word of advice, 'you may need a tissue...or two.' ;)

Insightful, emotional, compelling and just absolutely brilliant!
