Tyrant (King, #2)
by T.M. Frazier
'Tyrant delivers in droves. A dark and complex myriad of revenge, sex, violence, love, friendship, loyalty and deep bravery. One of my best reads of 2015.' - Kelly, Perusing Princesses
Upon closing this book I did an elaborate fist pump as a stray tear fell down my cheek. It had a few twists, a lot of emotion and a redeeming character that surprised me. Bear, King, Doe and yes... even Preppy are characters well worth fighting for and investing in, for what is now one of my top series of 2015.
Their paths are not easy to tread, living in a world where kill or be killed is the norm, a criminals world of business is ran on loyalty until the goods are gone. When King killed Isaac, his connection to a fellow tyrant, Eli was severed creating a turbulent shitstorm.
Doe has left, her Senator Father is a man who only has one thing on his mind, one mission, and thats success. The idea of his runaway Daughter shacking up with a known felon is not an option, having gone back to the life she had before her memory loss, Doe finds herself more alone and confused than ever. It doesn't help that the man she believed she loved once is now a stranger to her.
Tyrant is a story of revenge. The missing piece to a very complex puzzle that has you clinging onto the edge of your seat as Doe tries to remember who she is, and how she ended up on the streets and into the arms of one of the most notorious criminals in Florida.
He only wants two things in life; his girls and his freedom and he is a man of his word... He won't go down without a fight. who is he? He is Brantley King, Motherfucker!
Tyrant is an intense love story with a man who takes no prisoners and a young girl finding herself, as she discovers not everything in her past is clean cut and what it seems.
This book does include graphic scenes of sex and violence, but it is also a story of deep loyalty, love and bravery. An epic sequel and I cannot wait for Bear's story, coming next!

I. Remember. Everything.
Only now I wish I didn't.
When the fog is sucked away from my mind like smoke through a vacuum, the truth that has been beyond my reach for months finally reveals itself.
But the relief I thought I would feel never comes, and I'm more afraid now than I was the morning I woke up handcuffed in King's bed.
Because with the truth comes dark secrets I was never meant to know.
I will put the lives of those I love most at risk if I let on that my memory has returned, or if I seek help from the heavily tattooed felon who owns me body and soul.
I don't know if I'm strong enough to resist the magnetic pull toward King that grows stronger every day.
He's already saved me in more ways than one. Now it's my turn to do whatever it takes to save him.
Even if that means marrying someone else...
