Seduce Me (Ravage MC, #2) by Ryan Michele
Casey Alexander grew up part of the Ravage Motorcycle family since the day she was abandoned by her mother and thrown into her father’s lap. Always seeing herself as an outsider, she spent her whole life trying to fit in, but never really succeeding. When she loses her beloved father, the utter aloneness engulfs her, leaving her searching for solace in the one man she’s always craved. Confessing her love for him only results in devastation when he pushes her away. Convinced she needs a fresh start, she leaves everything behind in order to mend her broken heart and begin building a future without him.
Gage Thomas (G.T.) Gavelson fell in love with his Angel when he was just a pint sized kid. Both beautiful and smart, he always felt she deserved so much better than him. Growing up beside her in the club only continued to test his will power, until one night, he gave into temptation. Realizing he couldn’t allow himself to hold her back from the life she deserved, he pushed her away, allowing her to believe she would never be enough for him. Letting her go had been the hardest thing he’d ever done. Even though he’d thought it’d been the right thing to do, not a day goes by that misery doesn’t consume him for it.
When a tragic shootout occurs, everything changes as once again their lives are intermingled. When you find your way back to the one person you are meant to be with, forgiveness should be easy. But sometimes, we hurt each other too much to ever be able to forgive.
Is their love strong enough to heal their pain?

Book 2 in the Ravage MC series. This could be read as a standalone, however to understand all the characters fully I would recommend reading Ravage Me first.
This is Casey and G.T's story.
Casey has spent her whole life as part of the Ravage Family. Her father Bam a member, brought her up single handed when her mother ( a club whore) handed her over as a baby. Bam though died a few years ago but her "family" have continued to be there for her. Especially her best friend Harlow who she grew up with. Harlow though as we know was in prison and during that time she grew closer to G.T, Harlow's brother and her lifelong crush. When things start getting serious, G.T makes sure that Casey understands that he won't be tied to 1 girl; Casey is left devastated.
Deciding it's time to leave the club and G.T behind; we join the story as Casey leaves to go to college. She soon makes friends with fellow students Bella and Jace. They are what she needs especially as she has secrets that even Harlow doesn't know. They are her rocks and she may have at last found a place to move on leaving her heartbreak behind.
Life will always send curveballs when you are least expecting them though.
How will Casey cope with further heartbreak without her best friend, family and G.T? And how will she feel when she has to return to the club, facing G.T and her secrets?
G.T has been in love with Casey for a long time. He knows he isn't good enough for her; so when she starts making plans to ditch college for him, he does the one thing that he knows will make her leave him behind. He misses Casey while she is gone and when tragic circumstances force her return he knows he cannot bear to let her go again.
Will G.T convince Casey to stay? and when Casey reveals her real reasons for leaving, how will G.T react?
More importantly though; when Ravage enemies specifically target Casey, will G.T be able to protect her?
This is a really good sequel to Ravage Me. I think the main thing I liked was that it was a really different story but with the bigger club story arc related to the previous book in the background.
Casey was a real lost soul. Although part of the club, since Bam's death she has felt on the periphery. Harlow is such a strong badass bitch and although she loves her like a sister, this intimidates her. Making her feel even more irrelevant. She has loved G.T for such a long time and was so happy when he started to notice her; so when he betrays her she knows its time to leave that life behind and build something of her own. I liked her and I felt her pain and sorrow, you will route for her to find happiness in whomever proves to be the best person for her and to finally find her place in life.
G.T, where to start. Typical biker yes, but he has such a soft side to him especially where Casey is concerned. Everything he does is in Casey's best interest or he thinks they are. He has been an active part of the club since he was 13 and has been very much groomed to become VP and eventual president. This has given him a strong sense of loyalty to the club and his brother's; letting their wishes take president over his own and thus effecting the life he could have with his Angel. I respected and understood the decisions he made in regards to his relationship with Casey, but what I loved even more was the way he fights to convince her that they should be together.
Where Ravage Me was pure grit, Seduce Me is pure emotions. yes you have club action, but this is much more focused on the relationship between both Casey and G.T and the relationship she has with the club and where she fits in to it. It has the angst factor.
There is of course a bend in the road which was a really good one, and the last 20% is the grit you expect from a good MC book.
You will be pleased to hear that there isn't a real cliffhanger to this book; more a case of setting up book 3. We have a few new females characters to entertain the hotties that make up the club, so I will look forward to finding out whose story comes next.
Highly recommended sequel, get 1 clicking :)

I have to say, after reading Ravage Me, (which was SOA on Crack) I loved Seduce me, even more!
This book is about Casey and G.T....
Having both been skirting around the flirty business for years, G.T. didn't think he was good enough for Casey. Casey on the other hand has other ideas. She's been obsessed with him for a long time!
So, you know how it goes.. they explode one night which then leads to a few weeks, then G.T. feels 'that' guilt, the notion that he is holding her back, so he sends her on her way...
But, this is where things get complicated.. then go from bad to worse.
A great angsty MC read with just the right pace. I really enjoyed it!
