Need (Finding Anna, #2) by Sherri Hayes

Wow! Well I just had to jump on this one straight after release because I took a gamble on Slave and really enjoyed it.
I knew that Brianna would still be going through her rehabilitation, with Stephen being her lifeline, but I didn't expect this book to surpass the first. NEED follows on the same suit as Slave, but with it comes character progression, new scenarios and a good sub plot.
I love the way Sherri gives us both character perspective, to divulge in each emotion, each thought and confusion makes this such a fascinating story that grips you from the word go. As I hoped, we start to see Brianna blossom, even though it's still a torrid struggle. By later chapters it's so beautiful to finally watch her move into the light, letting go of the darker elements of her past.
Stephen is a remarkable Dom and is slowly becoming one of my favourites. His patience and restraint is almost heroic and it's a real treat to witness it start to pay off.
Wasn't quite prepared for the end, even though I had an inkling it was coming, and in normal writing fashion, it's a borderline cliffhanger! Why do they do it to us? The 3rd book will be out Summer 2013, which is a bit of a wait but it will be worth it.
As this book has just been released I won't go into too much of the story because I don't want to spoil it, but what I will say is that if you really liked Slave, then definitely run with this series as this second instalment did not disappoint!
