Insider (Exodus End, #1)
by Olivia Cunning
Book 1 in the Exodus End World Tour series. For fans of Olivia Cunning's Sinners on Tour series, you will remember them as being the band that Reagan (Trey's girlfriend) joined and also the band that Trey's brother Dare plays lead guitar in. You do not need to read Sinner's before starting this book, but some of the characters do cross over.
Toni Nichols has been given the chance of a lifetime. Her mother's publishing company have given her the task of putting together an interactive biography of world famous rockers Exodus End. Leaving her home and special needs sister will be tough, she has all but brought Birdie up herself. But joining the band on tour will be a chance to spread her wings and live her life for herself for a change. She just has to get the rockers to trust her, make her mother proud and prove her doubters wrong. It should be easy... shouldn't it?
Logan Schmidt is the bassist for Exodus End. He loves women, partying and anything extreme. When the rather dorky, quiet and shy Toni joins the tour, he places a bet that he can get in her panties within 3 hours. But he quickly realises that Toni isn't what she seems. For once he starts to feel for a woman in his heart and not just his pants. But can he trust her?
This is a journey for both Toni and Logan. Toni learns to embrace being a desired woman and Logan learns to open his heart to love. Will the course of true love run smoothly? Of course not. But my lips are sealed, you will need to read for yourself to find out.
This book has been a long time coming for fans of the Sinners. We got a glimpse of the band in Trey's book and I loved what I saw. I was surprised that Dare's book wasn't first, but once you get reading this book, you realise that the authors choice of character is perfect. Logan is a real sweetheart and totally loveable. He also has the simplest back story. By introducing a journalist as his love interest, it means that this book also gives you a basis for every members story - it's a genius move in my opinion, and as a reader I have finished the book eagerly awaiting the next 4 books that will come in this series.
It is a long book and it lacked high levels of drama, so at times it did get a little slow. But as with any book of this type, it very much involves the whole band and not just the 2 main protagonists so it did keep you interested. The relationship between Toni and Logan is sweet, but not as drama filled as what I think the other members books might be. That being said, it is hot and Logan is certainly the master and ideal teacher for the innocent Toni. I fell in love with them both, I think you will too.
A good start to a new series by the Queen of the rock romance genre. It sets up each characters stories whilst telling the story of how an innocent virgin is pulled over to the sexual dark side that is the totally loveable Logan. If you loved the Sinners, this is a MUST READ!

So what do you get when you have a hot rocker/adrenaline junkie and a shy nerdy/smart and funny reporter?
You get the newest HOT read by Olivia Cunning in her first book with Exodus End!
Logan is the base player and Toni is the reporter going on tour with them for 4 weeks - complete polar opposites, but you know what they say... Opposites attract!
Okay, so after I got over the fact that she loses her V-card to him approx 2.4 seconds after they meet, I did connect to the story and characters, getting cozy with the guys. It was also a huge treat of having the Sinners involved in the story as some of the characters cross over so that aspect was just awesome!!!
Olivia can write some serious rocker stories, and going through the touching journey of Logan and Toni really made me get all the right feels. They truly have a deep journey mixed in with a lot of Sex-sational learning for Toni by the overly capable Logan!
Really enjoyed it. Need more Exodus End!!!
