Innocent Ride (The Hellions Ride, #4)

by Chelsea Camaron

Opposites attract, or so the saying goes. When two people from different worlds come together by a chance meeting twisted with an element of danger, can their attraction remain innocent?

She's a corporate accountant. Her life is full of structure, routine, and organization. Settled, comfortable, and content, Caroline Milton, loves knowing what to expect every minute of every day.

He's the Catawba Hellions VP and a wild one, refusing to be tamed. His motto, 'hit it, get it, and go; no repeats' where women are concerned, guarantees a new woman in his bed nightly. His life suddenly tilted on its axis, when his wild days come barreling back with a major responsibility. Drexel 'Rex' Crews finds he has a real reason to settle down his wild ways.

When a situation quickly spins out of control at work for Caroline, she reaches out to the one place she least expected to find herself dependent upon. The Hellions Motorcycle Club.

His cousin's ol' lady, Doll, comes to him with a personal favor, protect her best friend. He can't refuse. Protecting Caroline was supposed to be an innocent task.

The attraction from their first meeting is still a fire burning strong inside of them both. Neither can deny the pull. They come from different worlds.

Can Rex show Caroline the safety and security of the MC? Can Caroline tame the wild beast inside of Rex? Can their innocent ride become a journey to long lasting love?

Book 4 in the Hellions Ride series. Each book can be read as a standalone.

Caroline Milton has big things planned for her life. A Corporate accountant, she is determined to project an image that doesn't truly reflect the person she is. When her boss starts making unwanted and obsessive advances, she turns to her best friend Doll, daughter and wife to Presidents of the Hellions Motorcycle Club.

Drexel "Rex" Crews is VP of the Catawba charter of the Hellions. He is wild, he is carefree and he is a total man whore. He also recently found out he was a father to a 5 year old son. It has come as a major shock, not only because he didn't know but because it was kept from him purposely. He is carrying major guilt and it has opened his eyes and made him look at his life choices differently.

Protecting Caroline becomes a purpose that Rex takes seriously. They have off the charts chemistry and both have felt the attraction from there introduction years ago. Caroline is determined to keep him at arms length as his lifestyle doesn't fit into her carefully planned life. Rex himself is focused on just being friends with Caroline, saving her to make up for not protecting the mother of his child.

Will Caroline plans be derailed? Will Rex finally be tamed? and will the secrets of the past and the dangers of the present be an obstacle they can overcome?

I Have been waiting for Rex's book for ages. I admit that I was a little disappointed that Book 3 wasn't his book, but having now read it, I totally understand Chelsea's mindset. It feels like his story has been in the background since book 1 and I have to say, it made that read all the better for it. You really get to see the change in his life and the reflection that has on him.

I loved Rex and I grew to love Caroline, once she removed the stick out of her ass. She has her reasons for being the way she is though so stick with her. It was also nice to catch up with all the other characters in the series.

Another good addition to an enjoyable MC series. If you enjoy your MC romance with more love and less blood, the Hellions is a series I recommend.
