Crash Ride (Power Station, #2)
by T. Gephart
It is official, I am a Power Station Groupie. Troy Harris has leaped into my fictitious rock star hall of fame. Damn, that boy just rocked my world!
Troy and Megs were always destined to be together even if their minds were continuously in denial, their hearts continued to beat to the same drum. Corny? Well screw it, because this series does certain things to my ovaries. Not only was Crash Ride incredibly sexy, but it was another cracking read because I laughed my arse off yet again at the witty banter, internal dialogue and the sheer honesty of one Megs Winters. As far as heroines go, this girl is stellar! I want to be her friend. She really is a great character who isn't afraid of taking the bull by the horns and just going for it.
What I loved about this story is the transition from friends to lovers and how they fought so hard to keep their relationship platonic for fear that it would cause friction between Dan and Ash, both of their respective best friends. But their pull towards one another was so fierce that it was only a matter of time before they were consumed with that underlying belly of lust. And trust me here... that lust is explosive.
The plan was one night. A full on sexathon blowout to scratch the itch once and for all and literally fuck one another out of their system. Initially it sounded like a good plan, but obsession turns addiction and with it a passionate love that has the power to conquer even the most complicated of circumstances.
Wickedly titilating and breathtakingly funny, Power Station and T Gephart have just entered my 2015 top ten. Read this series!

Megan Winters had lusted over Troy Harris, drummer for international rock band Power Station, for years. Not being the type of girl who was invited backstage, her fantasies had stayed just that, fantasies. When her best friend unexpectedly starts dating one of the other band members it puts her on a crash course at war with her libido. Her solution— they need to have sex. Surely once she had scratched that itch, and saw the fantasy didn’t live up to the reality she could move on. I mean, what could possibly go wrong?
Troy Harris vowed to stay away from Megs. The sexy, smart and funny blonde left his mind and his body feeling like a pretzel. No matter how attracted he was to her, she was a no-go zone. The best friend of his best friend’s girlfriend? Cue the reality show. But when she gives him the chance to have a one-night no strings good time, there was no way he could turn that down. Maybe she was right. One night, and then they could go back to being just friends.
Both of them were delusional.
Book two of the Power Station series.
